Laurin Conlin, Owner and Head Coach

I know a lot of women can relate to letting food and exercise become a full-blown obsession that runs their life and robs them of happiness and fulfillment.

Maybe that’s where you’re currently stuck right now?

If so, just know that there is a way to achieve the body you want while feeling happy and fulfilled in your life as a whole.

How do I know it’s possible?

Because of my own story of first dieting and restricting foods at the age of eight years old.

It was the first time I consciously said “No, I’m not going to eat this. I need to be smaller.”

From there things progressed into a full-on diagnosable eating disorder. I started seeing a therapist and a registered dietitian, eventually recovered and was able to successfully perform as a high school track and cross-country athlete. I still struggled but was eventually able to channel that positively into professional bodybuilding. But it wasn’t always straightforward.

The high highs, and the low lows.
The black and white lens that skewed my nutrition, my training and my mindset for the years that followed.

It wasn’t until after my grad school research and many years into my coaching practice that I fully understood how our physical and mental health are so deeply intertwined. It wasn’t just about what type of program or diet they followed. It was about the mindset behind the approach, and the new identity they stepped into when making those changes.

That’s when it all changed for me and my clients.
